Holiday Spectacular 2023 was one for the books! With countless hours spent practicing and perfecting, Barbara Ingram students were able to put on a fabulous and entertaining performance on both nights!

The show opened on December 20, 2023, with a breathtaking performance of Gloria in Excelsis Deo, performed by the BISFA Choirs, Dancers, and Symphony Orchestra. The dancers danced along the aisles, which was a fun experience for the audience to be so up close. The senior Creative Writing students wrote and performed an original collaborative poem, to which the senior Dance students choreographed and danced along to. The poem, Happy 2024!, was joyful, heartwarming, wholesome, and funny, all at the right times. Following the poem, the Theatre Department performed Twelve Days To Christmas from the musical She Loves Me. This chaotic musical performance of last-minute Christmas shopping was both relatable and hilarious! Theatre student Jayden Hess stunned the audience with his breathtaking vocals in the performance of What Christmas Means to Me, accompanied by the BISFA Commercial Band and Dance Department. This performance was a fabulous way to conclude Act 1!

In Act 2, the Theatre Department put on their astonishingly beautiful dance performance of Sisters from the musical White Christmas. This dance performance had the crowd applauding as loud as they could! The traditional O Holy Night performance by the BISFA Choirs and Symphony Orchestra blew the crowd away, as usual. Tears were shed as the seniors sang their hearts out. To end the show on a more cheerful note, the BISFA student body led the audience in a Christmas festival sing-along!

There were so many amazing performances at this year's Holiday Spectacular. While they can’t all be included in this article, they all deserve recognition, so congratulations to everybody who played a part in putting on such a terrific show!
